What We’re Doing
We are taking a step-by-step approach to sustainability, focusing on actions that deliver real impact:
- Energy efficiency – Reducing energy consumption through efficient lighting, equipment, and operational practices.
- Waste reduction & recycling – Encouraging recycling across the site and minimising landfill waste wherever possible.
- Water responsibility – Using water efficiently across showers, laundry, and cleaning operations.
- Site cleanliness & care – Maintaining a clean, well-managed environment that protects local surroundings. Our access roads, internal areas, and external spaces are regularly cleaned to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
- Sustainable purchasing – Where possible, working with suppliers who share our commitment to responsible sourcing and reduced environmental impact.
- Electric hook-up points – Providing on-site electrical connections for trucks to avoid using fuel, reducing noise and air pollution.
- Eco-friendly truck washing – Our third-party truck washing facility uses environmentally friendly detergents and processes, ensuring the well-being of wildlife and protecting the local environment.
Supporting Drivers
Drivers are at the heart of everything we do. We actively promote simple, practical actions that help reduce environmental impact, such as:
- Switching off engines when parked
- Using on-site facilities responsibly
- Disposing of waste correctly and using recycling points
- Reporting leaks, spills, or issues to site staff
